Diego Velázquez is a visual artist working across architectural visualization, photography, animation, and cinematic image-making.
For 10+ years, his work has explored atmosphere through light, composition, color, and environmental storytelling — developing imagery that moves between architecture, emotion, and observation.
His experience includes collaborations on international competitions, cultural projects, hospitality developments, and high-end visualization work across both independent practice and studio environments, leading small creative teams and contributing to visual direction from concept through final delivery.
Alongside architectural visualization, his practice extends into photography, motion, and AI-assisted image experimentation, using emerging tools as part of a broader authored visual process rather than as a replacement for artistic direction.
Strongly influenced by cinema, architectural photography, travel, music, and everyday observation, he is also an enthusiastic handmade pasta maker — a proud sfoglino equally fascinated by atmosphere, texture, rhythm, and craft beyond the screen.
